Training aims :

The Master in Peacekeeping from the Alioune Blondin BEYE Peacekeeping School and the Executive Master in Post-Conflict State Reconstruction (IEP Grenoble, France) allow listeners to:

  • Understand the Peace Support Operations (PSO) environment;
  • Understand and analyze conflicts, their dynamics and their transformations;
  • Master the cross-cutting areas in PSOs such as gender and Human Rights, among others;
  • Master the coordination and interactions between the different actors;
  • Contribute to the deepening and supervision of the culture of peace
  • Outline reading grids of events that affect the security and stability of the region
  • Propose possible solutions based on values ​​and experience drawn from the management of crises and conflicts in the region
  • Analyze the socio-political, geopolitical, strategic, historical, human context, etc. in the Sahelo-Saharan space in order to constitute an open and universally accessible knowledge base through a set of media

Training aims :

The Master in Peacekeeping and the Executive Master in Post-Conflict State Reconstruction are organized around courses that focus primarily on Peace Support Operations and post-conflict state reconstruction issues. The lessons are supplemented by workshops during which students are put in real situations allowing them to follow the peace support process in accordance with the principles of the United Nations, the African Union and ECOWAS. To this end, numerous seminars are organized in order to give a more practical and in-depth vision of the different disciplines relating to PSO.

CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION :

The admission of candidates is final after the jury's decision. The number of open places is limited to 40.

Teaching methodology:

Face-to-face and distance learning courses, case studies, practical work, tutorials, seminars and workshops, real-life scenarios

  • The duly completed registration form
  • Legalized copies of Bachelor’s or Equivalent diplomas;
  • An extract from the birth certificate;
  • A certificate of nationality;
  • Detailed CV;
  • The transcript of the last diploma;
  • 04 recent color ID photos;
  • A letter of motivation to follow the training;
  • A letter of commitment to meet the training requirements;
  • 1 The names and contacts of two reference people including one of his teachers;
  • 1 A written and legalized commitment to full payment of training fees before the start of third semester courses.

File submission fees: 10.000 FCFA non-refundable

Cost of training and payment terms:

Registration fees: preferential rate for individuals: 4.500.000 FCFA

Payment terms :

  • 50% upon registration;
  • 30% before the start of 2nd semester courses;
  • 20% before the start of 3rd semester classes.

Training duration :

The training is organized in four semesters.

The EMP-ABB is also the only center located in the French-speaking area whose teaching is bilingual (French and English).
