The Alioune Blondin Beye Peacekeeping School (EMP-ABB) in Bamako is today a school for which the quality of the training provided is well established. Our institution, an international center of excellence of ECOWAS, attached to the Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs, has thus had the privilege of contributing to the training of more than 32.000 trainees, actors of peace composed among others, of students, journalists, associations, NGOs, police and military.
Thus, we intend to continue on the same path by strengthening our achievements and continuing to adapt to the realities and needs of our environment, while maintaining the same level of rigor in terms of efficient and transparent management. The objective of strengthening the capacities of high-level executives, decision-makers, as well as collaboration with other training institutions in all areas associated with peacekeeping at the national, sub-regional and international levels, is at the heart of our 2021 agenda.
The need to strengthen the skills of decision-makers and supporting the involvement of civil society actors committed to issues of peace, security and development, appear to be inescapable.
In addition to its training mission, EMP-ABB is also a space for meeting, discussion and exchange of innovative ideas between decision-makers and high-level experts, so that together we can identify solutions adapted to the multiple challenges and share them with all the stakeholders in the various crisis resolution processes.
For the year 2021, EMP-ABB intends to continue, strengthen and enrich the various projects and collaborations initiated thanks to the trust and support of all its faithful partners. We thank you ! Our institution will also remain faithful to its long tradition of welcoming and opening up to citizens from all over the world, and to anyone eligible and willing to have a positive impact on stabilization and peace support operations, so that the promotion of the culture of peace is a reality in all West African countries in particular and worldwide in general. In short, if you are looking for excellence in matters of peacekeeping and / or support, you are all welcome to EMP-ABB!
