WINTER PAINTING

The “Alioune Blondin Beye” Peacekeeping School is taking advantage of the relative freshness that Bamako is currently experiencing to refurbish its facades.

Thus, the “Commandement” building has had a facelift in recent days, with a work of stripping and sanding the walls, before proper repainting. The color used remains the same (“Sahel brown”) in order to preserve the architectural homogeneity of the site.

This paint is also an excellent protection against the bad weather that the Malian capital experiences throughout the year, from the extreme heat of spring which burns the coatings, to the torrential rains of the summer which wash the facades and take off the surface. painting.

Finally, this “fitness” will be completed this week, which will make it possible to host, from Monday January 18, the very first course of the year 2016: a “Training of Trainers” reserved for the Armed Forces of Mali (FAMa ).
