On Friday January 29, 2021, Dr. Lt- Col Abdoulaye Maïga, Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization took part as thesis director in the defense of Mr. Khalil Sidy Touré on the theme of the “Role of Civil Society in the Reform of the Security Sector”.
As a reminder, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization holds a doctorate in International Security and Defense from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University of the “ED 492” Doctoral School of Law.
The jury was composed of Dr Coulibaly Abdrahamane, interim director of CARESS and president of the jury; Colonel Aliou Bagayoko, Director of Education at EMP-ABB, and Dr. Monzon Traoré, from the Grenoble Institute of Political Studies (IEP), better known as Sciences Po Grenoble.
This defense is part of the first cohort of auditors from the double master's degree in "Peacekeeping" and "Post-conflict State Reconstruction" of the Center for Analysis and Research of the Sahelo-Saharan Space (CARESS) of EMP-ABB, in collaboration with the Institut d'Études Politiques de Grenoble (IEP).
