EMP-ABB December exchange meetings: Electoral challenges in Africa

The general objective of the panel was to carry out an objective analysis of electoral processes in Africa, identify their flaws, and propose solutions likely to improve the electoral system. Its particular objective was to determine how the different solutions identified can be adapted and applied to the current political context in Mali.

The panel recorded the participation of the Special Representative of ECOWAS in Mali, HE Mr. Hamidou Boly; the former Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations, Dr. Moustapha Soumaré; the Head of the Electoral Division of MINUSMA, Mr. Kacou Assoukpe; that of the Director General of the School of Peacekeeping Alioune Blondin Beye of Bamako, Brigadier General Mody Béréthé, as well as that of the trainees of the six (06) APE training courses of EMP-ABB and his auditors of his master's degree in Peacekeeping and Post-conflict State Reconstruction.
