DG EMP-ABB CEMGA meeting

Tuesday March 31, 2020, exchange meeting between the Director General of EMP-ABB, Brigadier General Mody Béréthé and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armies, Major General Abdoulaye Coulibaly. The discussions focused on the different types of training adapted and adjusted to the current situation of high risks of health disasters due to COVID-19 that the EMP-ABB could provide to FAMAs staff officers.
These adaptations and adjustments relate in particular to internships such as knowledge of new dynamics on terrorism (Human Factors & Terrorism); Civil-Military Coordination (CIMIC) applied very concretely to the current contexts in the field, as well as the setting up and implementation of adapted programs in Command and Leadership possible at EMP-ABB thanks to its Analysis and Research Center of the Sahelo-Sahelian Space (CARESS). The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces also underlined the importance of registering the officers available for the next CARESS Master in post-conflict reconstruction of the Alioune Blondin Beye School of Peacekeeping in Bamako.
This training support for staff officers will be done while respecting the measures to fight against the coronavirus and in accordance with the security protocol put in place by the School of Peacekeeping Alioune Blondin Beye (EMP- ABB) from Bamako.
