From January 2020, the School experienced a real boom in the field of communication

The DCDI was reinforced with two new members through a transparent and open selection process. A journalist, as an expert in communication and a “webmaster” for the realization of the technical part of the communication could be hired. Website www.empbamako.org is regularly updated and the School is now much more active on social media such as Twitter (@Emp_Bamako) and Facebook (EmpabbBamako).

Since February 2020, a monthly “newsletter” has been distributed to recipients around the world. Among other things, we published a special edition to provide information on all the measures taken by the School to minimize the risks associated with Covid-19 and the system put in place within the EMP-ABB itself.

In June 2020, the DCDI team is expanding with the hiring of a partnerships officer to strengthen ties with our partners and to establish new relationships with other nations and organizations. Our current Board of Directors is made up of ten countries or supranational organizations. EMP-ABB is open and favorable to the arrival of additional partners in order to continue to train and promote the culture of peace.

Over the past month, all important events have been covered by the media and several articles have been published in newspapers or broadcast on television. In response to the threat of coronavirus disease, EMP-ABB has, among other things, organized an awareness campaign with other partners. A total of 32 informative videos in 5 different languages have been produced and are available on our YouTube account and Facebook page at the following links:
