Arrival: Colonel Alex Neukomm permanent instructor at EMP-ABB

Enrichment of EMP-ABB staff with the presence of Colonel Alex Neukomm as permanent instructor.

Beginning of August 2020, Swiss Colonel Alex Neukomm joined EMP-ABB as a permanent instructor. Since his distinguished military career began as a private in 1989, Colonel Neukomm has held numerous positions at all levels of infantry and logistics. Among his multiple overseas peacekeeping assignments, he served three times in the Neutral Nations Armistice Monitoring Commission in Korea and twice in the United Nations for Peace. monitoring the truce in the Middle East.

Colonel Alex Neukomm's presence is part of the partnership between the Alioune Blondin Beye Peacekeeping School in Bamako and Switzerland via the Swiss Cooperation Office in Mali (SDC). Thus, in his capacity as a permanent instructor at the school, he participates in the supervision and training by sharing his experience and expertise with police, military and civilian trainees on issues relating to peacekeeping.
