1st Salon of Diplomacy and International Cooperation

On Monday July 26, 2021, the Alioune Blondin Beye School of Peacekeeping in Bamako (EMP-ABB) hosted the launching ceremony of the 1st “Salon of Diplomacy and International Cooperation” and of the “Training Program for young diplomats from the Foreign Affairs and Malians Abroad sector ”.

 

This first edition, which was organized by the Center for Strategic Studies (CES) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), benefited from the accompaniment and support of Japan.

It recorded the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) of Mali, HE Mr. Abdoulaye DIOP; that of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, HE Dr. Mamadou Tangara; the Ambassador of Japan, HE Mr. Daisuke Kuroki; the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies of Mali (CES), HE Mr. Mahamane Touré; the Director General of the School of Peacekeeping Alioune Blondin Beye of Bamako (EMP-ABB), Colonel Souleymane Sangaré; representatives of different ministries; members of the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited to Mali.


 

The main objective of the said fair was to contribute to the emergence of an effective, efficient and effective diplomacy, through the strengthening of its leadership, the revaluation of societal values ​​as well as the promotion of socio-economic and cultural interests.
